First - This was the first hospital I visited, and I had paid the CT fee of 10,000 won in advance when I made the reservation. I had separate photos taken, talked with the coordinator, and then met the doctor right away. He explained everything very kindly and in detail. We talked for about 40 minutes using a model. Even though it was the very first hospital I consulted at, the impression was good. The only drawback was that the coordinator followed up with a separate call afterward, which felt a little burdensome. The price was reasonable, and I liked that the wait wasn’t long.
Second - This was a hospital already famous for contouring, so there were a lot of people. That made the long wait a minus. I waited more than an hour and went in after asking, "When do we get to go in?" It was the only place where there was no consultation fee at all, including the CT. I met the coordinator and then the doctor as well. First of all, the coordinator was extremely kind, and the doctor seemed very confident. The fact that there was almost no pushy reservation pressure was also good and not stressful. The consultation with the head doctor was especially satisfying. I went in knowing nothing at all about contouring surgery, but he explained for a long time in a way I could understand why my face needed contouring. He had such a fatherly vibe. He said he also has a daughter, and he spoke very confidently about safety and similar matters beforehand, which made me trust him. As for the line, the consultation about the ideal line was also very satisfying. The price was the highest, though. Still, I had almost already decided in my heart to go with this one. The consultation was amazing.
Third - This was the hospital I had the highest expectations for, with the most reviews. Even though I was 10 minutes late, I still had to wait about 20 minutes. The CT fee was 20,000 won, and after paying right away I met the consultation coordinator and went in, but the doctor had to go into surgery immediately, so I met him briefly first while the consultation was rushed. At other places they recommended zigomatic reduction osteotomy (and the reasons made sense)! Here it felt more like, "If the doctor judges it necessary, he’ll just proceed," which I didn’t really like. The consultation itself definitely felt like it came from someone very experienced, and he seemed confident and skilled, but it felt like a short, punchy consultation. In a bad way, it felt a bit careless..? Maybe because I had just met a doctor who explained everything in so much detail before, but I wasn’t very satisfied. I spent about 20 minutes with the doctor and maybe another 30 minutes on the consultation that was supposed to be done with both the coordinator and doctor. So I did wonder, why isn’t the coordinator explaining this? (Though it could be because I was late and the doctor had to leave first.) The price was the cheapest, but the base price was the highest, so I was like, ugh, and then suddenly they said they’d discount 7 million won if I wrote a photo review, so I left thinking, wow, that’s over the top. They also said they’d take off another 600,000 won if I booked now, and it felt like they were discounting too much(?), which slightly hurt my trust.
