I am a 24-year-old male patient. I am currently undergoing presurgical orthodontic treatment, and the surgery is planned for June this year. In conclusion, I decided to have it done at a private hospital instead of Yonsei, and I wanted to leave a consultation review. I think the detailed examination cost around 400,000 won; anyway, it was very expensive. I went for the detailed examination on the first visit and discussed it at the next visit, but it took too long. I think every visit took more than 4 hours. The consultation was short. Personally, I had looked up a lot and had many things I wanted to ask. The professor basically spoke as if I should just go ahead and do it. There are definitely systemic advantages that a university hospital provides. But personally, the “just do it” kind of system felt too strong, so I don’t think I felt comfortable with it. For those considering surgery, I hope you make a wise decision while taking cost and time into account.
