Around fall 2022, I started Invisalign treatment to fix my complexes about my protruding mouth and buck teeth. During the consultation, I found out that when I’m just resting, my mouth stays open, and they said that could also be improved with orthodontic treatment… I thought that part was fascinating, and it was one of the things that made me feel sure about getting braces.
Fixing my buck teeth and protruding mouth was for improving my appearance, and fixing my open mouth was to improve my health(?) maybe? My jaw was uncomfortable too, and breathing was a bit uncomfortable, I guess? For those reasons, I decided to get orthodontic treatment. (Oh, and people also often said I looked like I was spacing out.) These are photos from a year and a half after starting treatment. My mouth has moved back a lot, and amazingly, my lips close... Isn’t it fascinating? I think there’s still some time left before my treatment is finished, but just the fact that my mouth closes like this is fascinating, so I’m leaving a review. Next time, I’ll leave a review about how my side profile protrusion improved!!
