Until the first 2 months after surgery, it was really hard and I regretted it, thinking why did I do this, I should’ve just lived with the face I had. But now I regret not doing it sooner instead, because the pain is only temporary..★
Now that 6 months have passed, I have no problem eating food! I eat beef intestines, pork large intestines, pork belly, lamb, all of it! When eating mala xiang guo, I can even chew lotus root...! But since I’m in orthodontic treatment, if I eat a large amount, my teeth do feel sore! I recommend cutting things a bit smaller to eat! I haven’t tried nuts like almonds yet, but I think I could chew them with my molars! There was still some swelling until around 4 months? but now the swelling has gone way down. But actually, I think I liked it better when there was a bit of swelling at 4 months lol Because my face was already on the skinny side... So I’m thinking of facial fat grafting soon!! I was worried about what if I got sensory abnormalities after surgery, but even right after surgery, I didn’t have any loss of sensation or anything like that. I could feel everything. Now I don’t even remember all the pain after surgery and I’m just happy. Before surgery, people with asymmetry and a protruding lower jaw will know, but taking photos with the basic camera? I couldn’t even imagine it. You know, right?
Everyone I meet says my face got so small, that I look younger, and that I’ve gotten a lot prettier, to the point my ears are callused from hearing it lol I think the best thing I’ve ever done in my life is double-jaw surgery ㅠㅠ Oh, and not being able to eat after surgery was a forced diet, and I lost almost 10 kg, so I seriously hit my peak look.. Usually when you see people who’ve had double-jaw surgery, they have a distinctive mouth shape, but no one could tell with me lolol Director Lee Seok-jae made it look so natural…<3 Now I just want my orthodontic treatment to finish quickly so I can smile comfortablyyy ~
