Hehe, it’s been 3 months since I had incisional double-eyelid surgery with ptosis correction and medial epicanthoplasty at Lowell on September 30!
Before surgery, my eyes tended to swell easily, so it was hard having to reduce the swelling every day.ㅜㅜ Reducing the swelling and applying double-eyelid tape every day was honestly one of the most annoying things, but now not having to deliberately reduce swelling and make double eyelids really feels like my quality of life has improved… !! My eyes also feel like they swell less than before. Before getting double-eyelid surgery, people around me tried to stop me, asking why I would bother doing it, but after I did it, they only complimented me, saying I did well to get it done, it turned out really well, and that they keep forgetting I had double-eyelid surgery. The swelling really went down so fast that after I had the stitches removed, I think I barely covered it up when going out. At first, I was worried because the thickness of the double eyelids on both sides seemed a bit different, but as time passed they matched well. When doing makeup, maybe because my eyes got bigger, it’s so convenient, and there are many people who wouldn’t know I had surgery if I don’t tell them.. haha
