Before-before <before surgery> After-after-after <after surgery> I originally liked doing my makeup with my eyelashes curled tightly upward, but recently, whenever I got an eyelash perm or curled them hard with an eyelash curler, double eyelids would form in this kind of line, you know? In the past, I thought I liked having monolids too, but once double eyelids actually formed, my eyes looked clearer and it seemed to suit me well, so I started looking into eye-surgery clinics~ Of course, I also thought, if I want to make a line? I should get double-eyelid surgery, yeah. That was my mindset, but my natural double-eyelid line was already fairly well settled, and the line itself wasn’t asymmetrical either, so I was also worried, what if I get double-eyelid surgery and end up with too much scarring? But when I went for a consultation at Saegim, the director said that for my eyes, instead of double-eyelid surgery, if we do ptosis correction and boost!! the strength of opening my eyes, the line would hold well. And if we added an epicanthoplasty, my eyes would become the glamorous style I wanted.. Other clinics just glanced roughly and were like, just get double eyelids~ but here, they looked at me properly during the consultation, and I liked that the director confidently recommended the surgery. Honestly, double-eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + canthoplasty is more expensive than just ptosis correction + canthoplasty.. lol And I agreed with what the director said, so I think I booked right away and went through with the surgery.
Even though it was only ptosis correction plus epicanthoplasty, it was >incisional< ptosis correction, so honestly I was worried about swelling in the beginning, you know? But the director checked my progress well, and the clinic as a whole?? took care of everything that needed attention, so I don’t think there was anything major I had to manage separately. After about 3-4 days, I could do everyday activities without any problem! As I said above, when I do my makeup, I really care about lifting my eyelashes, and now that the ptosis correction turned out well, my eyes that used to look blurry look much clearer, so I’m satisfied! Everyone, if you have a line but it isn’t definite, and you’re looking into eye surgery, don’t just blindly look into double-eyelid surgery. I recommend meeting a director with good surgical know-how like I did and getting the surgical method that fits your own eyes!
