I didn’t want to use silicone, so I did it without an implant, using only septal cartilage and ear cartilage. Honestly, autologous costal cartilage felt burdensome, so I wanted to avoid it, but fortunately, maybe because it was my first surgery, they said my septal cartilage was large enough I’m a college student, so I had the surgery right after the semester ended, and I think the timing worked out well. It’s been 2 weeks now, and there is still some bruising and swelling left. My ear also needs to heal more. Still, I feel good after grinding down the hump I hated seeing. I feel relieved The shape also came out the way I emphasized, and people around me said it went well and doesn’t look obviously like plastic surgery I like that it came out natural enough that people other than friends who know I had surgery wouldn’t know Since it was a hump caused by me, I couldn’t blame anyone, and I felt so frustrated it was like I was rotting inside, but I’m so happy to say goodbye to it now But I wish the swelling and bruising would go down a bit faster I should crush an evening walk again today
