I had nose surgery in my early 20s without thinking much about it. They said they would do it for me, so I thought that was good and got it, but after that my rhinitis became extremely severe. (My nose was running so much that I could not even go outside at all.) I also had rhinitis surgery, and they said I had a deviated nasal septum(?), so when I had the rhinitis surgery, I also had surgery to straighten it. The person who performed the surgery was someone my parents knew, so I could not even complain about the side effects. At that time, there was no community like this, so I just thought maybe my body was weak.. But thinking about it now, I think it happened because I had nose surgery..ㅠㅠ Because I did not have rhinitis until high school.
Anyway, aside from that rhinitis, there was nothing particularly wrong, so I just got by. But suddenly, since last week, one part of my nose has been swelling up. These days I wear a mask, and my skin is on the thicker side, so it is not that noticeable.. But I am so scared...
I am thinking of just using this opportunity to have the silicone completely removed. If you are considering rhinoplasty, please think very carefully before doing it. If I had known there could be side effects like this, I really would not have done it.
