Hello before-before-before-after-after-after~~!! It’s been 6 months since I had double jaw surgery and contouring surgery 3 types (cheekbones, square jaw, chin) at Y oral surgery, so I’m here to leave another review!!
At this point, I’ve almost completely forgotten that I even had surgery. All my sensation has come back, and eating is no longer uncomfortable at all. Actually, even from about 2 to 3 months after surgery, chewing wasn’t uncomfortable, but back then the way I ate felt a little awkward lol. Now my eating style is completely back!! No one even thinks I had double jaw surgery and contouring. I think all the swelling has gone down now too. I’ve fully returned to my pre-surgery daily life!
I also had an X-ray, and they said the bones have fused well! They said if I’m going to have the pin removal surgery, I should do it soon. They said I can do it later too, but if I wait too long, the bones will have fused completely and they may not be able to remove all the pins. There seem to be a lot of people living well without removing the pins, so I’m going to think about it a bit more!
People keep telling me I’m cute these days When I had surgery, I didn’t bring celebrity photos or anything; I only said I wanted my asymmetry improved as much as possible. So I left the surgical direction completely to the doctor’s aesthetic sense, and I’m so satisfied!! Not just for double jaw surgery and contouring, but for all plastic surgery, the person’s aesthetic goal and the surgeon’s sense of aesthetics have to match well for it to be a success. When I first visited Y Oral Surgery and talked with the manager, they also said that Director Lee Seok-jae prefers a natural look over a face that looks overly obviously operated on. That made me feel like it would be fine to have surgery there, and I was drawn to it, and the actual result really is like that! No one thinks I had surgery. Only when I show them old photos do they finally believe it lol It’s that natural, but the surgical effect is definitely there. My asymmetry has improved so much that I’m much more confident, and I even get called cute now, which I never used to hear Now, if I flirt a few times with someone I like, they all end up falling for me lol Everyone says I seem popular. They say I’m pretty... lol
Life after double jaw surgery is fun... It feels like just yesterday I was always wearing a mask and walking around with my head down even though COVID had ended ages ago, and I can’t believe a person’s life can change so dramatically.
Right after surgery and in the early period, I had a lot of numbness and discomfort, and there were parts where I thought, “Well, it’s prettier now, so I just have to accept this...” but around the 6-month mark, there was nothing left to endure because everything had recovered. Honestly, among the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life, getting surgery at Y is one of my top three.. Thanks to it, I’m living a new life. Always grateful!!!
