While looking for a clinic known for revision rhinoplasty, I saw reviews saying Dr. Oh Seung-il at VN understands patients’ needs well and is good at improving nose shape, so I booked a consultation. When I went for the consultation, before seeing the doctor, the consultant spoke with me first, and she was really kind. She listened well to what I was curious about and what I wanted, and she answered everything in detail. Then I had the consultation with the doctor, and he examined the condition of my nose very carefully. He explained in detail why my nose shape had turned out that way after the first surgery. Other places said I absolutely had to use donated costal cartilage or autologous costal cartilage, but here they said they would try reusing the septal cartilage first and use costal cartilage only if needed, so I was more drawn to them.
I didn’t know much, so I had a lot of questions during the consultationㅋㅋㅋ The doctor looked very busy, but he still answered every single one carefully. I had consultations at other clinics too, but I liked the consultation here and they were the kindest, so I decided to have surgery here and got my revision rhinoplasty. After the surgery, they said they had reused my septal cartilage (thankfully), replaced the existing silicone, and used ear cartilage. I tend to toss and turn a lot when I sleep, so I wondered if my ear would be uncomfortable, but surprisingly it was fineㅋ It might also be because I slept sitting up for over a week to recover fasterㅋㅋ After my first rhinoplasty, I really hated the dated look, but after the revision and once the swelling went down, both nostrils were corrected well, and I can see that the line came out nicely, so I’m satisfiedㅋㅋ
