I had eye surgery once before, and the surgery I got a year ago was a revision. Because I had the line made a bit thin, it kept getting lower and lower, and the line at the inner corner of my eyes got buried. That was the most stressful part.. The eyes I wanted were a bit glamorous and large, but they kept getting smaller. So before the revision surgery, I wore really heavy makeup, and there was a big difference between my bare face and my eyes with makeup.
It was so hard and exhausting to pay attention to makeup every single day, and especially the fact that my bare face and made-up face looked so different... that bothered me, so I looked into revision surgery, and it has already been about 1 year and 2 months since I had incisional revision surgery, epicanthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty all done in Gangnam.
For me, the swelling really lasted a long time. I’m the type who swells easily and whose swelling doesn’t go down easily. And on top of that, I had revision surgery by incision and also had canthoplasty, so it was a total mess. The swelling was severe. I had some foreign-body sensation in the beginning too, and I started wearing makeup and contact lenses when it had been close to a month. Now I’m not too worried about swelling, but in the beginning it looked exactly like a failed sausage-eye result, so I went through some emotional distress...ㅜㅜ
There’s nothing like scar tissue, and since a year has passed, there’s nothing I’m particularly cautious about anymore. I wash my face without hesitation, and if my eyes itch, I rub them to relieve it. Still, if you rub too hard, the line could loosen, so I guess I should be careful…. I’m satisfied with the revision surgery, and my friends say my eyes are twice as big ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ But even after surgery, the habit of doing glamorous makeup doesn’t really go away. Still, compared to before, it has gotten much lighter ㅋㅋㅋ Anyway, the line and height both came out the way I wanted, and I hope the line height doesn’t lower too much even after a few yearsㅠ
