Because of chronic rhinitis, my nasal congestion was so severe that it was really uncomfortable even when sleeping, to the point that I developed insomnia. At first, I only looked into functional rhinoplasty, but since I was having surgery anyway, I thought it would be good to improve the appearance too, so I ended up getting functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty at GNG Hospital, where they do both at the same time. I wanted improvement mainly around the nasal tip, and Director Lee Sung-hoon listened well to my opinion about using no implant, rather than blindly recommending an implant. I had septal cartilage, donated costal cartilage, deviated septum correction, rhinitis surgery, and osteotomy done together, and currently the surgery turned out neatly, so I’m satisfied.
