Before<surgery before>After<surgery after>I was often told I looked fierce, like a Mongolian woman ㅠㅠ I didn’t like that my face looked long and that my midface seemed emphasized, so I had facial contouring surgery. At first, I was only going to do my cheekbones, but after getting a consultation, they said my chin was short and set back, which was why my midface looked emphasized, so I had 3-part facial contouring. They also said the fierce impression was partly because of my eye shape and because my forehead looked narrow and square, so I also had a forehead lift to make my eyes look gentler. I already had double eyelids, so there was no need to create a more defined line, and we decided to just make the overall eye impression softer. It’s now been 5 months since surgery, and only a little residual swelling remains around the front chin area. I don’t have any discomfort with sensation, and a lot of feeling has returned. The pulling sensation is also less than last month. I think I did well getting my chin done, just as the doctor said. By slightly increasing the chin length, my midface doesn’t look long, and my facial proportions seem better balanced. I’m satisfied because I think my face shape has become slim and natural, just the way I wanted.
