I had a severe hump and my nasal tip was very low, so they said they would shave down the hump and insert a very thin silicone implant, but on the day of surgery I was so scared that I asked them to do it without an implant. So they didn’t put in an implant, raised the nasal tip with donated costal cartilage and septal cartilage, and overlaid AlloDerm.
The surgery went well, but the nasal tip was too red, and when I lowered my head the heavy feeling was too strong, so at week 2 I had an early correction and had the septal cartilage that had been placed on top removed. So now I have to wait another 2 weeks to get all the stitches removed again, but staying stuck at home every day makes me feel bored and depressed.
