I had cheekbone reduction and revision nose surgery together. I'm satisfied. I kept touching my nose so much, but my acquaintances kept scaring me, saying the silicone would protrude, so I'm trying to hold back now... lololololol
My face was originally very asymmetrical, with different cheekbone heights on both sides, nostril-wing heights, and mouth-corner heights, and because of rhinitis, the nasal bridge itself was slanted diagonally. Now that the swelling has definitely gone down a bit, the silicone in the nasal bridge and the donated costal cartilage placed in the nasal tip look closer to a slight / diagonal shape than a straight I-shape. It might be because I kept touching my nose so much hehe;....
I knew from the start that my own face had severe asymmetry when I decided to get surgery, so I think the surgery turned out pretty well considering that. During my first nose surgery, I only had cartilage placed in the nasal tip, but over time it still became crooked according to my original nose shape lolololol. I didn't have side effects like protrusion or discomfort, just aesthetically? But anyway, it was only to the extent that I myself could notice lolololol..... The doctor who did my revision surgery also said my nasal tip was crooked and said they would correct it as much as possible during the revision.
Some people understand their own face well, but more people than you might think don't know what features their face has... For example, someone has a short columella compared with the alar base but only has high silicone placed and ends up with an upturned nose.... Or people who, like me, originally had severe facial asymmetry and then say their nasal asymmetry got worse after nose surgery.... (They say when something that was already there is made higher, it looks more emphasized. I agree from experience lol)
But honestly, my face is asymmetrical, and the face itself is slightly tilted diagonally.... Other people don't really notice it... Unless you're a symmetrical beauty like Song Hye-kyo, I think it's hard to be perfect. I'm going to live satisfied like this. If the silicone protrudes or inflammation or side effects occur, that would be another story... but I should pray that they don't.
One more thing. For alar reduction, the incision was made with an external approach along the alar line, and alar fat was removed. They say that no matter how well the surgery is done, unless it's an internal incision, some suture-mark scarring? remains a little.
Still, it's an area where it doesn't show much, and honestly, as long as hypertrophic scar tissue doesn't form, I think it won't be very noticeable as time passes.... During my first surgery too, the incision line under the nose became so faint after 1 or 2 years that it was barely visible even from below.
