I had the buried-suture method before, but it was pinched too high above my natural eyes, with a slight sausage-like look, and I personally found it hard to open my eyes all the way up to that line, so while looking into revision surgery, I got the incisional method. I was worried because incisional surgery takes a long time to recover from and because of scarring, but compared to when I had the buried-suture method, the swelling really went down so much faster, it doesn’t look obvious, and opening my eyes has become so much more comfortable, so my quality of life has improved. I don’t think it’s simply that incision is bad and buried-suture is good.
