I had double-eyelid surgery 1 year ago. As soon as I went for the consultation, unlike other doctors, I could feel that the director seemed full of confidence lol So I skipped all the other places, paid the deposit, and set the surgery date. During the consultation, he caught the line I wanted in one go, bam! And he didn't recommend adding anything else! I had also wanted posterior canthoplasty, but in my case, he honestly told me that because the space at the outer back of my eyes is narrow, posterior canthoplasty wouldn't have a dramatic effect, and I really liked that.
On the day of surgery, they mark the line once right before surgery, and I thought he would do it quickly like during the consultation, but he marked it very delicately! I think it took about 20 minutes just to mark the line lol I could feel that he was being very meticulous, so I trusted him even more!
Even on the day of surgery, I didn't have much swelling, so both the director and the staff were surprised and said I really had no swelling lolol Still, on the first day there was some swelling, so I worried that it had come out too thick, but once the swelling went down, it was exactly the line I wanted, so I was satisfied! I used to wear double-eyelid glue before, so if I don't tell people I got double-eyelid surgery, they don't notice lol Even though I did go on the thicker side, everyone says it looks natural, so I'm ve~ry satisfied!
Hmm... The thing that was a bit disappointing was that there was no aftercare?? It was just over after the surgeryㅠㅠ I was flustered at first, but even without aftercare, the line settled beautifully enough, so I'm satisfied!
