As the year changed, it has now been about half a year. The fat around my eyes was very sunken, so my dark circles were really severe. It was my first cosmetic surgery, and honestly the surgery I had always wanted was for another area, but under-eye fat surgery somehow does not show much and is a natural-looking surgery, so I think I decided without much hesitation.
The reason I decided to have surgery at this clinic was actually more because of an acquaintance’s recommendation than the consultation. The consultation was not long, and maybe time ran out midway, but the consultant cut it short? so I learned from my acquaintance what kind of surgery this was, what method they use, and that this clinic does not call it repositioning but calls it transfer surgery. If it had not been for my acquaintance, I don’t think I would have decided to have surgery at this clinic.. The consultation part and the staff’s friendliness were the most disappointing.
The surgery is done under local anesthesia, and during surgery the director keeps talking to you nonstop so you do not get nervous. During surgery, I asked the director, should I do this area too, what about here, things like that lol Even while continuously talking, I was still nervous...
After surgery, I think the consultant told me to send progress photos? at some point, but I forgot and did not send them, and they did not say anything. This memory may not be accurate. On the day after surgery and the day after that, I was amazed that my eyes could swell this much, and it was uncomfortable having to keep wiping away eye discharge because it kept forming, but I thought, this surgery is manageable lol
After all the stitches were removed and about a week to ten days had passed, when there was still some swelling, I personally liked it a bit more, since my eyes were so sunken. At that time, because of the swelling, the dark circles were not visible at all, so my skin looked better. Now that all the swelling is gone, I have a moderate amount of dark circles like an average person, and it is a little disappointing, but when I think of before, I am satisfied. Most of all, I’m glad my first surgery ended safely, and I think I should have done it even one year earlier.
