BeforeAfterAfterSince I was visiting Korea on a short schedule and didn’t have much time, I couldn’t go around to several clinics for consultations in person. Instead, I trusted the detailed consultation reviews, surgical skill reviews, and photos about Dr. Kim Chae-min and booked the surgery right away.
On the day of surgery, as expected, the doctor conducted a thorough consultation for about 30 minutes. I repeatedly opened and closed my eyes dozens of times while discussing the eye shape I wanted in detail. Then I went into the operating room, closed my eyes, and fell asleep, and when I woke up, the surgery was already almost finished. Personally, I think they may have adjusted the medication midway through the surgery to check how my eyes opened.
When I looked in the mirror after surgery, it was much cleaner and more natural than other people’s immediate post-surgery appearances. Both the epicanthoplasty and lateral canthoplasty were done cleanly, and I really liked the placement of the double eyelid line. I wanted a glamorous yet natural semi-out line, and I also asked for the part where my eyes looked slit backward and upward to be lowered, and the doctor reflected this carefully.
It has only been one month since the surgery, but I can feel that my eye shape looks much gentler and softer. Even my foreign friends in the U.S. saw my eyes and said they looked natural and didn’t show signs of surgery, giving a thumbs-up to Korea’s cosmetic surgery skills.
Since it was a revision surgery, I had a lot of worries, but the doctor used the natural adhesion method I wanted, so recovery was fast and the result came out natural too. In the morning there is slight swelling, but by the afternoon it seems to look more natural. I sincerely thank Dr. Kim Chae-min for creating such a pretty and satisfying result! :)
