Before<before>After<after>After<after>I had 3 facial contouring procedures at ㄱㄹ Plastic Surgery around mid-August. I debated until the very end whether to do my chin, but in the end I did it too for overall balance.
My preferences: I don’t like an overly pointy face.. I wanted the overall line refined.. I like Jun Ji-hyun’s face shape.. I didn’t want the mandibular angle under the ears completely removed, just left slightly and moderately.. I dislike a pointy front chin and prefer a U-line over a V-line.
For my front chin, I had a retruded chin, so I had gotten a chin implant in the past, but this time they removed the implant and moved the chin-tip bone slightly forward so it would look slimmer. The director said the tilted axis around my mouth and the part where the front chin muscle looks sunken would not be improved.
On the day of surgery, it was so hard that I regretted even having the surgery, but after a few days I adapted. The feeling of tightness inside my mouth due to intraoral scar tissue lasted about a month, and the major swelling lasted about a month too, and even now it feels like some still remains. There is still slight swelling on both sides around my mouth, like a squirrel holding something in its mouth.
I currently have no problem opening my mouth, and I eat pretty normally without much trouble.
