I was debating whether to do it at that clinic before, but in the end I did, and now I’m 2 weeks post-op.. The swelling is still really.. intense, but when I touch my jaw it seems improved compared to before... but when I take selfies, my lower face still looks huge..ㅜㅜ I asked them to cut right up to just before the nerve line, but I think the clinic pursued a natural result. Still, compared to before, it seems better, so for now I’m satisfied.

I read quite a lot of reviews and people’s opinions in a community and even paid a deposit, but there were some things that weren’t really mentioned, so I’ll write a few of them!
1. During surgery, they put you under anesthesia before the doctor comes in. The clinic is very large, so there are operating rooms on the 11th and 12th floors. When I lay down in the operating room, they seemed to be trying to start anesthesia right away rather urgently.. I couldn’t even confirm that the doctor came in, and I went straight into surgery. When I opened my eyes, the surgery had ended well, but.. that part made me anxious~
2. One eye became filled with blood. As of today, it’s day 15 after surgery? The swelling is gradually going down, but the pooled blood in my eye still doesn’t seem like it’s going away ㅜ ㅜ.. Thankfully I don’t feel like my vision has worsened, but when I look in the mirror it looks so unsightly that I’m worried.. I can’t go about daily life yet..
3. They don’t let you take photos of the CT scans before and after surgery. Yesterday was 2 weeks after surgery, so I went to the clinic to check my progress. When we compared the before and after using the CT scan, it really had changed a lot. So I wanted to take a photo, but they wouldn’t let me. I went to the desk and asked if I could receive the photos separately, and they said it would cost an extra 50,000 won. If you need CT photos, I think it’d be good to keep that in mind.
