I don’t know if you saw my earlier, earlier, earlier, earlier, earlier post, but I’m writing because I couldn’t reach an agreement with the hospital and I’m wondering if anyone has had a similar case. It was a hospital I went to after seeing reviews on an app, and since I’d barely had any cosmetic surgery before, I trusted the hospital too much and didn’t look into it enough.

First, the consultant said the recovery period would be one day, so I trusted that and scheduled the surgery date, but I couldn’t recover and ended up getting fired from work. I attached the conversation related to that.
I showed them photos of my abdomen from before I gained weight and said I was concerned about my waistline and my sagging lower abdomen, but they even recommended fat grafting. But I have wide hips and a fairly large butt, so thinking back now, I wonder if they recommended it because they weren’t confident about the abdominal surgery + wanted to make money.
On the day of surgery, I woke up 2 hours after the anesthesia wore off, and after about an hour? an hour and a half, I was discharged. I went to eat, then collapsed and was taken to Asan Medical Center.
I was in the emergency room for more than 12 hours, my blood count dropped from 15 to 7, and my blood pressure dropped as low as 83/38, so it was a situation where I could have died. Asan Medical Center told me to be admitted, but the plastic surgery clinic said they could give me a blood transfusion if I came, so after the Asan doctor spoke with the surgeon who operated on me, I was discharged and went to the plastic surgery clinic. After being discharged from Asan Medical Center, I signed a pledge saying I wouldn’t say anything even if I died and then left. (They wouldn’t discharge me because they said there had been a death case.)
But then they said they had to get blood from somewhere else for the transfusion, so they tried not to do it, but after my mom got angry, they finally did it. Later they made a big show of saying it had cost them a lot of money.
And they said they would provide unlimited aftercare until my body fully recovered, but they deducted even the care included in the package, and because I was in severe pain, there wasn’t any proper care. Going into the oxygen chamber a few times was all. (After that incident, I also worked briefly at a plastic surgery clinic, and that’s how I found out that if there are no reservations, the oxygen chamber machine is just sitting idle anyway.)
And until 2 weeks before my stitches were removed, my condition was so bad that I couldn’t even move around on my own, but after the stitches were removed, because I could walk by myself, they wouldn’t let me receive aftercare.
First of all, my weight at the time of surgery was 75 kg, and I think the photos taken at the hospital are from August. The hospital says there’s no difference because I didn’t lose more weight, but honestly, if I lose more weight, that’s an area where there would be a difference even without liposuction. Then they should have told me from the start that surgery wasn’t possible. I don’t know why they operated. And they also said it had no effect because I’m fat lol
I’ll upload the before-and-after photos without labeling which is which.
I paid 7.6 million won for the surgery, and I think I spent over 3 million won on aftercare. But whenever I get consultations or go for aftercare at other hospitals, I always hear things like, “I’ve never seen anyone make this many holes.” They made a total of 9 holes, and when I went to other hospitals for consultations, they said there was no need to make that many.
If I explain it with a drawing, the red part above the Y-zone lol There’s a hole there. The places where holes were made were 2 under the breasts, 1 at the navel, 2 in the Y-zone, 2 in the armpits, and 2 on the back, for a total of 9 lol
If the surgical result had at least been good, I wouldn’t care about collapsing or having lots of scars.. but it wasn’t..
When I went to the hospital in August, they said they could only do revision surgery on the abdomen and told me to pay 330,000 won for the anesthesia fee. At first I wondered if I should do it, but it seemed so wrong that I said I wouldn’t. (The doctor who operated on me left in March, so they said the head doctor would do it, but other hospitals said my abdomen is still so hard that they don’t think the cannula would go in.)
In September, I had to get an abdominal CT at the surgery department of Gangnam Severance Hospital, and the professor said, “The injury is too severe, so revision liposuction is not possible.”
In December, I went to the plastic surgery clinic, showed them the CT, and requested a refund, but they still say only revision surgery is possible.

Because of the record of going to the emergency room, the insurance I bought this year was also canceled. I’ll attach my conversation with the insurance planner. Who is supposed to compensate me for the premiums I already paid and for not being able to get insurance...?
I’m wondering if requesting a refund now is excessive, and whether anyone has had a case similar to mine.
Other hospitals said that if abdominal revision surgery is possible, the estimate would be around 10 million won. I paid all the emergency room costs and aftercare costs myself, and I also received no compensation for getting fired from my job. I’m simply in a situation where I only want a refund of the 7.6 million won surgery fee.
And I’ll also upload abdominal photos I took when I was 61 kg to check my body visually.
First, I need things like a medical certificate and doctor’s opinion letter, so I’m planning to go to a general hospital by early next month and get them!
In my previous post too, many people asked which hospital it was, but I’ll only say it’s a place near Cheongdam Station. I can’t give any more information than that yet because I still haven’t reached a conclusion with the hospitalㅠ
