Since my school days, no matter how much I exercised or dieted, I was stressed because my lower chest sagged a bit. When I wore tight clothes, my areolae protruded, and my lower chest sagged slightly too, so it felt kind of humiliating.

The surgery costs were the ultrasound exam at the initial diagnosis (100,000 won) + surgery cost (about 2 million won) + the compression binder worn after surgery (100,000 won).
It came out to about 2.2 million won total, but excluding the compression binder worn for cosmetic purposes, everything was processed through indemnity insurance, so my total out-of-pocket expense was 100,000 won.
Anyway, the surgery ended quickly, and I was discharged on the same day as the surgery.
I did it in the middle of a very hot summer, so living while wearing the compression binder was hell, but when I took it off after wearing it for about a month and saw my chest,
I really felt I had done the right thing.
The side effect I had worried about was that if too much fat intertwined with the mammary gland tissue was removed, the chest could become abnormally sunken, like it had been pressed in with a bowl.
But unlike my worries, it turned out very clean and natural, to the point that the lower muscle line of my chest became clearly defined.
What I’m most satisfied with, above all, is something I only realized after the surgery: the size of my areolae also changed to normal.
Mammary gland tissue is sensitive to temperature, so it affects areola size as well, and when it is hot or body temperature rises, the areolae get larger like a woman’s.
But once that mammary gland tissue disappeared completely, the nipple size also returned to normal.
Anyway, I’m really extremely satisfied, and now that I walk around with my chest confidently open, maybe because my back is straighter, I’ve gotten about 2 cm taller too.
If anyone is considering gynecomastia surgery, I really want to tell them not to waste time and to get it done right away.
It’s been a little over 2 years since the surgery, and I have no other side effects. Right after surgery, sensation in my nipples was dull, but that also came back after about half a year.
