After<around day 7>After after<recent, about 2 weeks post-op>Before before Before surgery, when looking from the front, both nostrils were uneven, and it had a bulbous/dragon-nose kind of look? That was pretty severe, and the bulbous nose was bad too lol.. But I didn’t have the courage to get surgery, so I only got filler about 3-4 times, and I got Hiko once, but it caused inflammation so I had it removedㅠ
But as I got older, my rhinitis kept getting worse, so I was wondering if I should get surgery, and then a friend recommended functional nose surgery. So I thought, well, I have nothing to lose, and went for a consultation at a place with an anesthesiologist on site that was good at both nose surgery and functional nose surgery.
As soon as I met the director, they said, “Your nostril asymmetry is severe, and you have a dragon nose, right? Your nasal septum is also quite deviated, so breathing must be difficult...” Seeing that, I thought experience really can’t be ignored.
For the functional nose surgery, I had 2 procedures, and cosmetically I had dragon-nose correction and bulbous-nose correction. I wasn’t especially greedy about the bridge height, but my nose was also crooked, and if I put in silicone, I thought it would look too obvious, so I went with a custom implant. The crooked nose improved a lot too, and the line became naturally pretty, so I think I made the right choice with this lol
It hasn’t been long since surgery yet, so the swelling is still really strong, but even so, compared to before surgery, I feel like I had a major glow-up. Especially, it’s amazing that the bulbous nose and nostril asymmetry got corrected. Breathing through my nose has also become insanely comfortable, so I sent my friend who recommended it to me chicken through KakaoTalk because I was thankful lololol I’ll get a few hospital treatments, and once the swelling goes down a bit more, I’ll come write another post lol
