I made an appointment a week ago and visited.
I came prepared to wait about 1.5 to 2 hours, as usual. Before visiting, they also said over the phone that 1.5 to 2 hours would be enough.
After about 30 minutes there, the counseling manager came, did the first consultation, said she would let me know when I could consult with the director, and then said absolutely nothing after that.
After an hour had passed, I asked the desk staff about three times when I could have the consultation with the director, but they kept dragging it out and told me to wait.
From the point when 1.5 hours had passed, I decided that even if I did get the consultation, I would not do it here.
I had another hospital consultation after this, so I asked the desk staff when the consultation would be possible. They said it would be possible in 20 to 30 minutes, so I waited, but 30 minutes later they said the surgery was running late and I would have to wait another 20 minutes, so I exploded and stormed out.
Even when I told the desk staff I could not wait any longer, nobody said sorry, and all I heard was, “Would you like us to cancel your consultation?”
(While I was waiting, when another customer said they could not wait any longer and would come back next time, nobody apologized then either; they only said that there would be a consultation fee if they came next time.)
The director is famous, but I do not understand how amazing his skills must be for them to make people wait over two hours and act like it is nothing.
(Honestly, when I saw the faces of people who had double eyelid surgery there, they were just so-so.)
Appointments really have no meaning. If you make an appointment and still wait over two hours, what is the point of an appointment?
It seems like the director must have bought the universe’s time and thinks it is fine as long as he does the consultation within 24 hours of the appointment.
For this place, only make an appointment if you are okay with waiting 2 to 3 hours, and it would be best if only people who can smile through whatever the hospital does and never get angry go there.
I thought it couldn’t be true when I saw a review saying that someone who booked surgery had their original surgery time delayed by 5 hours and ended up fasting for over 12 hours, but it was true.
No matter how good the director may be at surgery, and even if he can make someone look like Kim Tae-hee or Irene, in an age like this where SNS is so developed, they openly treat customers like pushovers.
I heard Oskin is good, so even if you try to book a consultation there, it is only possible three months later, but here, if there is surgery, they seem to care only about doing surgery right away even if appointment customers have to wait 4 to 5 hours. It feels like the director has an obsession that every surgery and appointment customer belongs to him. I think this tactic may work for the next 6 months to 1 year, but if you think 5 years or more ahead, I really do not think a system that treats customers like pushovers like this is acceptable.
