Before-before <Before surgery> After-after <Recent selfie after surgery!> Before surgery, because I had a complex about my face shape, I only had photos taken with SNOW ㅠ I wanted an objective judgment, so I’m attaching the very unfiltered photos taken at the clinic.. haha Anyway, after facial contouring, I became more aware of aftercare and went hard on dieting, and as my double chin disappeared, I feel like the facial contour shows better, so I’m writing a review
1. First, why I decided to have surgery Before surgery, my self-esteem about my appearance was really low, and even when going to the convenience store in front of my house, I always wore a mask or at least put on base makeup and lip color I was the complete version of what people commonly call appearance obsession haha My biggest complex was my face shape, so I didn’t ask my parents for money, and since high school I saved up little bits of allowance and money I earned from part-time jobs and put it into a savings account As soon as the savings matured, I thought I should give myself a gift for all my hard work, so I immediately looked into facial contouring and went around for a full round of consultations
2. Clinics I looked into I had made up my mind to get surgery, but I needed clinics to look into.... I didn’t know much about the surgical methods, and I was seriously a total beginner, so I searched through apps and YouTube, and studied really hard about what surgery would suit me, whether the clinic looked safe when I checked it, and so on After setting my own criteria like that, I narrowed it down to a few clinics, places that do triple fixation (when I looked it up, there weren’t many), places that could willingly disclose real-time monitoring or CCTV, places with a board-certified anesthesiologist on site, places with one facial contouring specialist within the clinic, places that stock drugs like Dantrium, and so on I set pretty strict criteria in my own way and decided on a clinic
3. Something to say about the pain^^ Facial contouring surgery.. even just looking at the surgery itself, it seems like it would hurt, right? Yes.. it hurtsㅠ It really hurts. It’s plastic surgery and they’re shaving bone, so it would be strange if it didn’t hurt. I do tend to be sensitive to pain, but after waking up from anesthesia, it hurt so much that I cried First of all, during general anesthesia my throat got so dry that my throat hurt so badly, like it was going to tear.... For about 6 hours after surgery, it hurt so much that I just wanted to pass out But then again, from around the 6-hour mark, it got better afterward By the next day, I was completely fine, so even my mom jokingly suspected whether I had just been overreacting the day beforeㅋㅋㅋ But honestly, by the next day I really was okay
4. Recovery after surgery Facial contouring doesn’t end after surgery; that’s when it really begins Now it’s a battle with food rather than pain.. everyone here with a big appetite will probably have a hard time In the beginning after surgery, I seriously slept like a newborn;; I only slept, but after getting the stitches removed, whenever I had a chance, I put on running shoes and went out for walks Since I walked diligently, the swelling definitely went down noticeably well Things like swelling-reducing tea, in my opinion, are all just marketing.. If you just stick to the basics, all the swelling that’s going to go down will go down
Honestly, I had a very severe complex about my appearance, and I’m satisfied because the surgery went well.. but if my family or friends asked me, “Should I get facial contouring?” I wouldn’t welcome it with open arms. Because surgery varies so much from person to person, and especially surgery that shaves bone is something I think you need to think through and decide for yourself without being swayed by other people’s words! Even after thinking about it hundreds of times, you still want facial contouring? Then I’d tell you to go to consultations at as many clinics as possible Everyone, don’t make a hasty decision just because you’re tempted after seeing review photos, and like me, think of it as almost becoming a major in it(?) I hope you study hard by looking through apps, YouTube, and all kinds of things…
