The day after rhinoplasty, I went to the clinic, had the cotton inside removed, and got aftercare with something like a laser for reducing swelling. And I had often heard in reviews that the cotton was the most uncomfortable, and honestly having my nose blocked with cotton was the hardest part, but once it was removed, it was definitely more comfortable!! After one week, I had the outer stitches removed, and at week two I had the stitches inside the nose removed. Removing the outside stitches felt like someone pulling out 3 strands of hair at a time, and the inside felt like pulling out about 6 strands all at once? ㅠㅠㅠㅠ hahahahaha The yellow bruising lasted a little over 2 weeks, but I could cover it with makeup. Because masks are mandatory due to COVID, I’m scared of pressure on my nose, so when I go out I only wear dental masks or cotton masks ㅠㅠ
What I’m satisfied with about the clinic is, first of all, I think they provide good aftercare. When I was discharged, they gave me a rhinoplasty aftercare guide? a paper with explanations, plus gauze, cotton swabs, pumpkin juice, and even an ice pack. Every time I go to the clinic, they do high-frequency laser treatment~ The day after surgery, when I had the nasal cotton removed and dressing done, my assigned director was in surgery so I couldn’t get a progress check, but another director checked me once more, asked if I had any questions, and checked my condition too. At week one and week two, when my stitches were removed, my assigned director checked my progress! They also said that if I’m bothered by scarring, they can give me a scar injection after one month. Actually, I had seen posts saying the aftercare wasn’t good, but I personally felt it was very well set up!
For my own care, I applied the eye ointment prescribed by the clinic whenever I could until stitch removal, and these days I’m applying Noscarna! Since it’s only been a month, there’s still slight redness, but I don’t think it will become scar tissue or a severe scar. I heard this clinic makes results really natural, and it really is natural, but it clearly improved the flaws and I think they did it well to match my facial proportions! I’m very satisfied with the surgery.
