I used 5 mm silicone for the nasal tip and autologous costal cartilage, and they also did correction for a bulbous nose, but it’s still before the splint is removed.
Even with the splint on, it’s clearly obvious that the bridge and tip are higher. The doctor was very professional and detailed when it came to nose-related consultation. There was no recommendation for osteotomy or nostril reduction, and because the tip could be refined from my current nose while also doing bulbous nose correction, I wasn’t pushed into any extra procedures. The cost also fit within my budget, so I decided to have surgery here.
Just waiting for the day the splint comes off.
