There was no special discount promotion, only a discount promotion for writing a review. There was no pressure about the content, but instead, the process involved paying a deposit in advance (100,000 KRW, VAT separate) and then canceling it later, so I think it would be good to check before paying. I found out about this on the day and was really flustered. I had only brought exactly enough money for the surgery fee.;;
Additionally, when I visited the clinic at the 1-month mark, they said I also had to leave some kind of review video and told me to go to the consultation room. It seemed like it would be uploaded to YouTube, and if they had explained this in advance too, I think I could have gone along with it without feeling uncomfortable.
I was not satisfied with my review, so maybe because I only talked about negative things, I don’t think it will be uploaded to YouTube. Looking at the videos that were uploaded, even though they were mosaic-blurred, acquaintances would still recognize them.
If I had been able to choose, I don’t think I would have filmed it, but when I was filling out something like a pledge form before payment, they had already written that kind of clause in there. They did give prior notice, but I think they should explain in detail that it is a video and that it will be uploaded to a public place.
The surgery I had was alar base reduction, but there were several additional procedures that seemed to depend on what name they gave them. There was nostril-wing lifting and alar thickness reduction, - Alar base reduction: a surgery where the alar base is cut out and attached - Nostril-wing lifting: it seemed like a surgery where, while cutting and attaching, they paid design attention to the area being cut and attached it slightly upward. When cutting out the alar base, they are ultimately considering the design, so I wasn’t exactly pleased that they went out of their way to give that a separate surgical name and proceed with it. - Alar thickness reduction: they said this is only possible when doing alar base reduction. They recommended it for people like me whose alar tissue itself is thick, so I did it together.
The surgical direction I was pursuing was **as natural as possible, balancing the face, and correcting asymmetry, but even now, well past 3 months, I am not satisfied. I will list below the reasons why I am not satisfied. 1. First, it swells too much. During the consultation and in other reviews, they said people could return to daily life without issue even the day after surgery, and after 1 week they could wear makeup freely, but for me, the swelling and bruising lasted more than 2 weeks, and I only started wearing makeup from the 1-month mark. Of course, excluding the surgical area. Anyone could tell it was a face swollen from plastic surgery, so everyone at work noticed. The alar area swelled too much, my whole face swelled overall, and I will explain more details below. 2. Second, it did not heal well. It may sound exaggerated, but I visited once a week, and every time I went in, there was an opened area, so they made me get it stitched three times on bare skin without anesthesia.;;; Luckily my workplace is in Apgujeong, but I was worried what other people would do if theirs opened up like this. 3. If I set aside points 1 and 2 and the shape itself had come out well, I would have thought it was all part of the process, but in conclusion, the shape failed. My nostrils are uneven, and the position of the nostril wings went up too much, so anyone can tell I had alar base reduction. Please check in the photos.
