Before <before plastic surgery> After <12 days after plastic surgery>Hello! I’m a man in my late 20s, 12 days after rhinoplasty at Dㅇㅇ. The nose surgery I had used septal cartilage for the nasal tip and silicone for the nasal bridge, and I also had rhinitis surgery at the same time.
The problem I’m experiencing is that the entire silicone implant has shifted to the right, and because of that, the silicone is visible through the skin.
I noticed this issue on the evening of day 11, and today, day 12, it has become a bit worse. Even when I touch it, the difference between the left and right sides is very clear, and the problematic right nasal bridge feels rounded, thick, blunt, clumped, and deviated. The difference is visible to the naked eye too, so I’m very distressed and worried, which is why I’m writing this post.
On day 11 (yesterday), before I discovered this issue, I had seen my doctor at 3 p.m. After a nasal endoscopy, I was only told that the surgery went well and that I should massage it properly.
Currently, after speaking with the hospital by phone, I sent the above details and photos to the manager in charge, but I only received a canned response saying that the swelling has not gone down enough yet, so we can only know after a month has passed, and that the chart from yesterday’s doctor visit says there were no abnormalities, so it should be fine.
I’m asking for generous advice and possible solutions from those with more plastic surgery experience who have had symptoms similar to mine. Thank you for taking interest in and reading this long, tedious post about someone else’s side effects.
