I had rhinoplasty as soon as I had just turned twenty. Maybe because back then I knew nothing and used silicone and donated costal cartilage for my first surgery, whenever I was tired, inflammation would intermittently appear at my nasal tip and it hurt, and my nasal bridge was crooked too... I was seriously so angry and stressed ㅠㅠ And for my rhinoplasty, even removing the nasal packing really hurt, and it was so painful that I truly never wanted to do it again... But because of both the shape and the inflammation, I ended up doing it again ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
My hometown is outside Seoul, so I had my first surgery just anywhere locally, but once I started thinking about revision surgery, I really understood why clinic tours are necessary. This time I worked hard searching online and visiting clinics before deciding. And as I had consultations, I realized thin skin is actually a blessing.. lol I thought thin skin wasn’t great because I worried the silicone might show through, but they said the skin needs to be thin for the nose to come out slim... so at least I was blessed with that ㅠㅠ I think it came out slim and nice, so I really like the shape now. When the nasal bridge is too high, it makes it look bulky, so I also lowered the bridge, from 5 mm silicone to 4 mm. I think that was truly the best choice. And before surgery, my nose somehow looked like it was pinched with a clothespin, and that was corrected with cartilage grafting too. Overall, I’m satisfied.
The director’s consultation was thorough and good, but the waiting time was long, so ㅠ that day I ended up not being able to go to one of the other clinics I had planned to visit on my clinic tour.. I wish the appointment times were a bit more systematic ㅠㅠ... For follow-up too, I know the director has surgeries, but without even asking what time worked for me, they said I was booked at a certain time.. so I used annual leave, sob sob sob sob... And holding back from alcohol was soooo hard..... haha... because I live and die by alcohol..
