Review 4 and a half months after three-part facial contouring + nasolabial fat grafting

Before <before surgery>Before <before surgery>After <post-op swelling>After <current after surgery>After <current after surgery>It’s been a little over 4 months since I had three-part facial contouring. To be exact, I had square jaw + chin tip (revision surgery) + cheekbone surgery, and I also had nasolabial fat grafting done together It’s been a while since surgery, so some parts are hazy, but I’ll write down as much as I can remember

● Why I decided on facial contouring First of all, I take a lot of photos, and I was always stressed about facial asymmetry and a long face My eyes, nose, and mouth are feminine, but my jawline and cheekbones weren’t smooth, so it felt even more noticeable I tried losing weight and various procedures, but they were only temporary and things went back So after thinking it over, I decided on facial contouring to fix the fundamental cause

● Why I chose the hospital Since facial contouring is a major surgery, I went to consultations here and there and thought I should do it at a safe hospital with proven skill I also considered aftercare important After deciding on facial contouring, I researched for quite a long time. As I said, I went to many consultations and studied up on it a bit myself All the hospitals I consulted at were fairly kind, but among them, the nurses and director here felt the nicest, and I chose the hospital that made me feel comfortable. Of course, I also considered reviews and aftercare important If I were to talk about the hospital’s strengths from what I felt, I think the director calmly and kindly explained the surgical method and my case well I’m originally the type to have nightmares before surgery and things like that, but when I went in for surgery, my mind was quite a bit more at ease than before I really think you have to fully trust the director

● Surgery to 2 months Before surgery, I saw many people ask about and pack lots of supplies, but I went without separately bringing things like a humidifier or neck pillow But I think I was okay without them I read reviews saying their throat hurt a lot, they had nosebleeds, or felt nauseous, so I was really worried too, but I only had a slightly sore throat and was okay. There will be big individual differences, so just use this as reference! Honestly, comparing pain, facial contouring hurt less for me than thread lifting… I think it was better than fillers or skin booster injections and things like that Maybe it was because I had a pain-control injection so I didn’t have pain, but that’s how I remember it… But this can also vary by person, and my memory may have become a little idealized, so please just take it as reference

For swelling, I think it was worst on day 3, which people usually talk about a lot I wasn’t the type to swell a ton, so I was less swollen than in other reviews I saw, but I dug through my gallery and found a photo lol

I also took walks at night, ate liquid foods like milk and vegetable juice in the beginning, and I think I tried to move around even at home. If going out for a walk felt awkward, I at least walked in place They say swelling lasts longer if you eat salty foods, but sometimes when I really wanted something, I put sesame oil in porridge and ate it, or added some water to abalone porridge, blended it, and ate that. And as my final conscience, I drank things like milk to settle the sodium a bit lolololololol

I think I could properly go out after about 2 to 3 weeks Until around one month, I think I had swelling inside my mouth At that time, I could open my mouth well and eat whatever I wanted

● 3 months to now Now I’m much more comfortable than at first, so these days I sometimes forget I had surgery When I was preparing for and deciding on surgery, COVID was really severe, so I was pretty worried But they performed the surgery safely enough to make my worries feel unnecessary and checked my progress well, so now I wonder why I worried so much. I also think I should have done it sooner At one to two months, the swelling went down quickly, and now all the major swelling is gone I guess only minor swelling remains. These days I don’t think my face changes much day by day It does seem to be going down very slightly little by little, but I can’t really tell just by looking, and when I compare photos, I’m like, ah, it is going down very subtly little by little Rather than my jaw, I feel like there is still swelling around the cheekbones They say you have to watch minor swelling for up to a year, so I’m going to wait Four months already felt pretty long, so how am I supposed to wait until one year lol Since I had facial contouring, I feel like I shouldn’t gain weight, so these days I’m also managing myself I’m carefully doing some Pilates and eating healthily I’ve also heard that sagging can happen after facial contouring, so I’m doing InMode together for elasticity management It seems most people do worry a lot about sagging after facial contouring Just in case, I’m doing it preventively for now, but I don’t notice sagging yet It might be a bit early to judge right now though lol I’m thinking that if I keep steadily managing elasticity and weight like this, maybe it won’t sag?

I tried to write this a bit briefly to help other people, but the post got really long lol If anyone is preparing for facial contouring, I hope my post helps even a little Thank you for reading this long post. Everyone, become prettier~!
