Even though my nose had already been done, it still wasn’t pretty... My columella gradually drooped and it became a downturned, arrow-like nose. Maybe because of that, my midface looked even longer and I looked older too... Since it was really like that, I think it made me feel even more that I needed revision rhinoplasty.
Since it was a revision surgery, I realized I shouldn’t take it lightly and search the way I did for my first surgery. I really don’t want to even think about a third surgery, so I searched carefully this time and got the surgery. The things I most wanted improved were my downturned, arrow-like nose and the slight bulbous nose. I also wanted the nasal tip lifted a little into a refined, natural straight-to-slightly-curved line. So I focused on finding a highly skilled director with lots of experience in revision rhinoplasty, and that’s how I ended up getting the surgery. Because it was a revision, I was even more worried and anxious, but even on the day of surgery, they checked the design with me once more and told me the result would be good, and I was so grateful... You know how it is, when even a small thing like that one sentence makes you thankful...
What do you think?? I’m satisfied because I think it went well this time. The long, downturned arrow-nose feeling has definitely disappeared a lot, and I’m so relieved that the naturally round, slightly upturned bulbous nose was corrected too. I think the line I wanted came out refined and natural. There’s still a little swelling, so I’m working hard on warm/cold compresses and walks. Maybe because they’ve been very thorough with aftercare since the surgery, it feels like it’s settling quickly into the line I wanted. I had a downturned arrow nose, a whiny-looking nose, and a bulbous nose, and I guess this is why everyone looks for places with lots of experience ㅠㅠ Now I can be less stressed because of my nose, right??
