About 10 years ago, I had nose surgery with silicone + ear cartilage, and I did not have any other manipulation done. Honestly, my nose did become much higher, but I thought it looked obvious that I had nose surgery, so I was stressed. Since I had no side effects such as inflammation or contracture, I just lived with it while going to school and working, even though it bothered me, and since I happened to have time this year, I decided to have it removed. To be honest, I had always wanted to remove it, but my natural nose was really low and small, so I was very conflicted. When taking photos, I would look at my nose to see whether it looked obvious or not, and I even pasted my old natural nose onto my current face to worry about what it would be like if I removed it...ㅠ_ㅠ Honestly, I do not think it looked very obvious to other people, but people who have had nose surgery can see those things. And as time passed, I felt the show-through was getting worse... Anyway, before this year ended, I hurriedly made consultation appointments at clinics said to be famous, and the more consultations I went to, the more confused I became and the less I knew where to do it. Each director had a different preferred method, and although there were many good reviews, there were also people who had side effects, so I worried a lot. But actually, because every person has a different nasal condition, I thought that no clinic can satisfy everyone and side effects can happen. I was also very worried that removing mine could lead to a bad result, but anyway... I did not want to live with this nose until I became a grandmother, so even if a bad result happened, I pushed ahead with removal with the mindset that I would just revise only the nasal tip. No answer was coming from continuing to worry. Anyway, at the last clinic I consulted with, I also felt I could not postpone it any longer, and based on consultation results from various clinics, my nose did not seem to be in a condition that would make removal difficult. I trusted the clinic's safety measures (they did a CT scan, had CCTV, an anesthesiology specialist on-site, and did an ECG and chest X-ray), so I booked it there, had surgery the very next day, and today is day 4 after removal. When I first had nose surgery, I knew nothing and went onto the operating table without fear, but this time I think I wondered what luxury or glory I was trying to gain that made me do something like this, regretted it, and thought I never wanted to get on an operating table again hahaha. Because it was done under sedation, maybe it was at least less scary... Anyway, it was removed well, and they said the silicone had been quite high.. 5-6 mm. That means my nose was really that low.... The glabella area became really much!!! lower. My nose also became shorter.. After removal, my old appearance came back to mind, and I returned to the image I had made by compositing my nose. My impression changed completely... A nose with silicone is definitely prettier by popular standards, but now I am just going to love my original appearance.. Just as I got used to the higher nose after the first surgery even though it felt awkward, I will have to get used to this too.. During this Olive Young sale, I even bought contouring productsㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ But when I look at my nasal bridge, I do not think contouring will be enough... Honestly, I am more scared of after the tape is removed. I feel like it will get even lower... Because there is swelling, it seems to look a bit higher. So far, I do not see nasal tip upturning, so I think the removal went well.. Honestly, removal is much harder than deciding to have surgery to make the nose higher. When doing nose surgery, you are becoming prettier than now and just have to choose the material, but with removal, even doctors cannot predict the result 100%, so I think you have to do it with the mindset of whether you can handle the outcome yourself... Those who had a high nasal bridge will become more natural, but those with low noses like me should look at many old photos and prepare yourselves firmly! The clinic is not one known in this community as a removal clinic, so I am cautious about sharing it. I saw a review by someone who had removal on a Naver blog and went to that clinic. It was closed technique, sedation, and because there was no inflammation in the capsule, I do not think they removed it separately~ I also went to many clinics, but my conclusion is that it is right to receive it from a doctor who can remove it in the direction you want and who is on the same page with you. Worries after removal can be thought about after they happen... Unless you have that kind of mindset, it is hard to decideㅠㅠㅠ I did it because I wanted removal even if things went wrong. If I only kept worrying that the shape might become strange, I would have to keep living with silicone...... I hated that... But I also hated revision surgery... ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ If I could not give up the shape, I would have had revision surgery.. Everyone, please think carefully about what you prioritize more, and I hope you all get good results that fit your situation.
