Before<Before surgery>Before<Before surgery>After<After surgery>After<After surgery>I'm a woman.. My hump nose was really severe... I was really stressed about it, and of course in photos, but even just having people look at me from the side bothered me. It felt like they were only looking at my nose? So ever since I was young, I really wanted nose surgery, and I finally did it. Now it's been over 2 months.
The hardest part was when cotton was packed in my nose and it was hard to breathe. After a week, the splint and stitches were removed, and from then on I could visibly see the swelling going down quickly, so I think I felt at ease. It hurt when I touched it, but if I didn't touch it, there wasn't really any pain or aching. The yellow bruising spread widely under my eyes as it faded. Still, I think it went away well day by day, the bruising too!!!
I started wearing makeup from week 2-3, and from then on I met neighborhood friends and kept walking around at home and in parks to help the swelling go down. But because the before-and-after difference was so big, looking in the mirror felt really awkward. It felt like it wasn't my nose... But now I've adapted to it all..ㅎ My family says it's definitely different, and people around me say my face looks much more alive. I've been hearing a lot of good things lately, so I've gained confidence and I feel like I'm glad I did it. And I'm happy that I'm no longer stressed because of my noseㅠㅠ That's honestly the best... I love it.. It feels like I solved one long-standing task.
