Review of Pin Removal After 30 Years (The Standard of Contouring)

Anyway, this time my mom had the pins removed from a chin-tip surgery she had 30 years ago! It feels a bit like betrayal lol, but it’s kind of funny too lolol I had no idea she had surgery, but recently she had to get dental prosthetics, so we went to the dentist, and when I saw the pins in her anterior chin, I was like, what is this...? ..ㅎㅎ But my mom said she had wanted to remove them, but the recovery after surgery had been so hard, and lying on the operating table again felt burdensome, so she hadn’t planned to remove the pins separately... Then, as she got older, whenever she went to the dentist and had X-rays taken, it was embarrassing that the pins showed... And she also felt embarrassed writing it on medical questionnaires when getting tests like MRI or PET scans... So even though 30 years had passed, she said she wanted the pins removed, and I went with her to consultations! But what was kind of ridiculous was that when we first went to the hospital where she had the chin-tip surgery (S? Plastic Surgery), they seemed unwilling to do it..? Then after watching YouTube, we went to a fairly well-known oral and maxillofacial surgery dental clinic for a consultation. We paid 50,000 won for the examination, and the consultation result was that it would cost 5 million won and there was a high chance the pins could not be completely removed, so I wondered if it was normally this expensive.. lol Then just in case, I looked on an app, but there weren’t many hospitals that did pin removal. While going around for consultations, we went to The Standard of Contouring. First of all, the staff were so kind, the examination fee (3D) was free, and most importantly, Director Oh Jung-seok’s detailed explanation made me trust him. Lastly, I was a bit surprised by the price. It seemed like a fixed price system, and it was written inside the hospital too! The price was the same as on the app, reasonable, and affordable! It would have been a disaster if we had paid 5 million at the oral and maxillofacial clinic; According to my mom, she was swollen after surgery, but since it was 30 years ago her memory is hazy. Still, compared with the first surgery, she says it feels like nothing. Now that 1 month has passed, she is completely satisfied.ㅎ For old pin removal, go to The Standard of Contouring, seriously!! It’s real ㅜ
