Today I went for my first double-eyelid surgery consultation!!!! I went really spontaneously, so I didn’t get to ask many other questions and mostly just listened to the doctor’s explanation, but I think it would be good to make a list of questions to bring with you!!!
1. ㄴㄴ (ㅏㅏ) -ㅈㅈㅌ- I arrived at ㄴㄴ a little later than my appointment time, but I think it was over in almost 30 minutes. First of all, the consultation manager was really kind, and I didn’t really get the feeling that they were pressuring me to book surgery the same day. But I went without choosing a doctor, so they recommended one, and I got kind of a rough..? feeling. They also didn’t try holding the line many times.. I was recommended ptosis correction + incisional double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty, and the cost didn’t seem as high as I expected.
2. ㄹㅎ (ㅜㅗ) -ㄱㅈㅇ- At ㄹㅎ too, I went in almost right away without waiting. They took photos before the consultation. And here too, the consultation manager was really kind and didn’t really pressure me. I also got a manager’s recommendation here and had a consultation with Director ㄱㅈㅇ, and they definitely explained things more professionally and clearly told me what was possible and what wasn’t. It may also be because I didn’t really ask questions, but it felt a bit quick-quick?
3. ㅌㅇㅅ(ㅣㅔㅡ) -Yang oo- I went at 3, but the waiting here was seriously bad, so I left the clinic at 5. It felt very crowded and hectic..? The consultation manager was kind and good, and the director also explained things well and carefully checked things like the line, but it felt a bit like they were telling me to do more? The first two recommended the same things: epicanthoplasty + ptosis correction + incisional double eyelid surgery, but here they also mentioned upper canthoplasty and fat repositioning above the eyes, so the price was almost twice as much as the previous clinics.. The director seemed trustworthy and spoke in a convincing way, so I felt like I needed to decide carefully.
I haven’t been to that many places, but all the clinics I went to were kind! I thought they’d all be pretty similar, so I went to three places and decided. I hope you look into it well!
