If you ask whether I’m satisfied, I think I really did well getting it done
I had never felt in my life that my cheekbones were very developed, but as I got older and dieted, the fat in my face suddenly disappeared and sagged downward without elasticity, making my wide cheekbones stand out and my lower face look heavy. I think that was when the stress became severe and I decided to have surgery
For cheekbones like mine, where the side cheekbones or 45-degree cheekbones are not prominent, I saw reviews saying that there would be no dramatic change even with surgery, so I wondered if I should not do it.. but I think I did have a dramatic change. As the cheekbones moved upward, even my smiling face definitely became at least better than before! (I’m someone whose smiling face was originally difficultㅠㅠ) And I can definitely feel that the facial contour line has become more refined, especially when shadows fall on my face Because of the issue of front-cheek volume loss with aging and my small facial features, straight-on photos taken by others still look flat, but still, I like that the front-view facial area seems smaller than before and looks more three-dimensional
For the chin-tip surgery, the visible change was bigger than the cheekbones, so I think my satisfaction is naturally higher I had a T-osteotomy + chin-tip advancement, and since I originally wanted chin-tip setback, it gives me slight chills to think that if I had gone somewhere with poor aesthetic sense, they would have just set it back Before surgery, at the time I thought my chin tip was very long and that I seemed to have a slight protruding jaw, so I went around consulting for chin-tip reduction + setback, but it turned out that my chin tip was actually on the short side. But the reason it looked long was because the curve from my ear to the chin tip was long (especially on the right), and the reason it looked like a protruding jaw was because I had a slight overbite. Sure’s was the only place that explained this, strongly talked me out of setback, and recommended advancement They explained exactly why I perceived it as long when my chin tip was actually short, and why I perceived it as a protruding jaw when it was not, scratching exactly where it itched, and then specifically suggested what surgical direction we should take for me to get the face I wanted, so I decided to have surgery here I remember nodding along during the consultation because the doctor’s aesthetic sense was aligned with the image I pursueㅋㅋ If you look at the before-and-after photos, you can see the difference in the area on both sides based on the lipsㅠㅠㅋㅋ I worried a lot that advancing the chin tip might make my lower face look long, but now that over a year has passed, I am quite satisfied
It was a surgery I worried about a lot before doing, but so far I am really satisfied. Thinking about maintaining it with things like lifting from time to time is annoying, though.. I saw a comment on my previous post asking me to upload a 6-month review, and although it is very late, I hope even this review now is helpful For reference, the after photos were taken after I also received Sculptra and Ultherapy, so please keep that in mind when looking!
