Hello, I’ll write a 3-month review of 3 types of facial contouring (I’ll write in a casual abbreviated style for convenience).
Usually when I took ID photos, my asymmetry was very severe, so the right side of my face looked bigger. I’m not sure if it was because I had a habit of sleeping on my side, but my jaw was misaligned, so I thought the asymmetry was severe because of that. Every time I took photos, I got stressed, and at some point I started thinking I wanted to surgically cut down my jaw. So on September 5, I had cheekbone, square jaw, and chin surgery at Contouring Standard.
At the 1-month mark, there was still some residual swelling in the side jaw and the whole face, but now at 3 months, a lot of the swelling has gone down, so people around me often ask if I lost weight and say my face looks smaller. As the facial swelling went down, opening my mouth naturally became much easier too, and I can fit up to two and a half fingers in. Sensation in my face has mostly returned overall, and only the area around my mouth and the tip of my chin still feel somewhat dull. I visited at the 3-month mark, got a CT scan, and saw Director Oh Jung-seok. I was told the bones are healing well and that the progress is okay and good. The major swelling has gone down, and I was told residual swelling can last more than a year. He also explained that pin removal is possible from the 6-month mark. I like that my angular face has been refined a lot and seems to have become a naturally softer face shape. People around me also often say it turned out naturally well, and since I haven’t had any side effects so far and the results are good, I thought I’m glad I did it!!
