I just had rhinoplasty at a neighborhood plastic surgery clinic. A director with absolutely no aesthetic sense..
Yeah.. that’s how my nose ended up like that^^.. Surprisingly, it was a surgically operated nose.. and on top of that, you could see a hump step-off forming, so I even got filler in the nasal bridge.. If you look at the front-view photo, you can tell, but it spread out as much as it could and became so thick, which stressed me out so much..
First, before going around to different clinics, when I called to get a consultation, the staff said I didn’t necessarily have to dissolve it before coming, so I visited the clinic in that state. After taking a CT scan, they said the filler still remaining in the nasal bridge would be dissolved with hyaluronidase, and that both osteotomy and nostril reduction were needed ㅜ For nostril reduction, they used both incisional and non-incisional methods..! Since it would probably be better to reshape the overall form..! I also judged that would be good.. I wanted it in a direction with a bit more curve, so I told them that.
The director was someone who paid a lot of attention to the forehead starting point, nasolabial angle, and nasal bridge design. When he explained while drawing on a pad, I thought, ah, I should do it here. He drew so well lol
I corrected the bulbous nose and hump again, lowered the columella, and raised the nasolabial angle.. Since both the nasal bridge and nasal tip definitely became slimmer, I’m satisfied. It also makes me wonder why I ever got filler.. I should have looked into revision rhinoplasty clinics from the moment I thought my rhinoplasty looked strange. The clinic that did the filler was weird too.
Usually, don’t clinics avoid doing filler on a nose that has had rhinoplasty...? So unconscientious... So everyone, whether it’s a procedure or surgery, decide carefully. That’s all I wanted to say. The director who redid my nose also felt sorry about it lol He said sometimes there are many people who don’t have the circumstances to get revision rhinoplasty, so they try to solve it with proceduresㅎ But if you do that, it can make things difficult later when you actually get revision rhinoplasty, because the condition of the nasal tissues before and after the procedure is really different... If I had known that, I wouldn’t have gotten nasal bridge filler..^^ Not a single doctor explained that to me..
