Before and after I had malocclusion since childhood, so as I grew up during my school years, my self-esteem dropped a lotㅠㅠ Even when I was going to school, I never tied my hair up because I was trying to hide my jaw somehow, and even after COVID ended, I was afraid to take off my maskㅠㅠ.. So I wanted to live confidently as soon as possible, even one day earlier, and decided to have double-jaw surgery!! The first reason I decided on double-jaw surgery at EU Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery was that I searched a lot for hospital information, and EU Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery was the most famous. Looking at the review photos, I felt their style matched me best, so I visited!
I think I was able to trust them more because of Director Shin Hee-jin's experience, and because they also had an orthodontic director and an anesthesiology directorㅎㅎ They didn’t recommend any additional procedures separately, and I think they made it natural and pretty, so I liked it even more~~ I really think the hospital atmosphere is important too!
All the managers kindly took care of me and treated me like an older sisterㅎㅎㅋㅋㅋ And since surgery-first treatment was possible, the orthodontic period became shorter and the recovery period was faster, so I liked it in many ways, which is why I decided on EU Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery!
From day 1 to day 3 after double-jaw surgery, there was a hose in my nose, so breathing wasn’t very difficult, but my throat hurt a bit. After about 5 hours, my condition got a little better, so I think I was able to use my phone! It wasn’t extremely painful, but I think the first day was really hardㅠㅠ And the nurse gave me a straw, so I could breathe through my mouth a bit more comfortablyㅠㅠ Even though I kept asking questions at dawn, the nurse took care of everything, so I was really touched...
And in the morning, Director Shin Hee-jin disinfected the area and also removed something from my nose once, so I became a little more comfortable!! I felt my condition was much better than on the first day!! Now it has been one month, and before, time felt like it wasn’t passing, but after the 2-week mark after double-jaw surgery, time seems to be flying by! On the weekend, my friends also told me I got prettier, so I felt goodㅎㅎ My side profile has definitely changed, so I’m completely satisfied!! My orthodontic treatment will start soon, and I’m so happy that only better days are ahead :)
