3 Weeks After Cheekbone & Chin Tip Surgery

Before<3 weeks>Before<3 weeks>Before<before surgery>Before<before surgery>I’d always had a complex about my cheekbones being more prominent than other people’s, so I thought I definitely had to get surgery, and my face also needed eyes and nose done too haha I looked for a hospital where I could do everything at once if possible. Because of facial contouring, I looked into private clinics, and while narrowing it down to safe hospitals even if the price was a bit high, I liked the reviews for one clinic, so I booked there first and had a consultation! I’m extremely lazy by nature, so I went in thinking I would do it at this hospital as long as the hospital atmosphere and the doctor’s consultation weren’t that bad. It was my first plastic surgery consultation, so I was pretty nervous, but the hospital atmosphere was good and the consultant in charge made me feel very comfortable. My eyes were also an issue, but I went in planning to handle facial contouring and nose first. The consultant said my impression would look much better if I opened the eyes just a little, and since the doctor was also famous for double eyelid surgery, I just felt like I should do everything. But they didn’t really recommend the nose? anyway, because of money, it would have been hard to redo everything completely, so I just listened to the consultant. They quickly connected me with the doctors, and for the doctor consultations, both of them talked only about exactly what was needed and didn’t push other surgeries, which I liked. Both also gave a good impression. I was planning to have surgery while taking a short break from work, so I didn’t have much time, and since I was going to do it anyway, I wanted surgery quickly, so I put down a deposit to do it two days later. It was a surgery I thought about every day, so I wasn’t extremely nervous or scared, and from the start I didn’t get too greedy, I just asked for it to look natural (but asked them to reduce the cheekbones dramatically). I was grateful that the nurse also took kind care of me during my one-day admission. Everyone is kind. I worked hard with cold/warm compresses and walking, and after getting the stitches removed in week 2, the swelling went down quickly. There’s still a long way to go with the swelling, but even with the default camera, it’s honestly so amazing and satisfying that my cheekbones disappeared. They also did my eyes so, so naturally. I told them please, please, I hate a sharp look for the epicanthoplasty, so please make it natural, and it really is natural. Now I even wonder if I should have opened them a little more haha. Anyway, I’m very satisfied with the surgery itself. I decided and went ahead with surgery really quickly, but I don’t really regret it! Rather, I felt that researching too much would only give me more things to worry about, so after deciding on surgery, I didn’t look anything up. After surgery, I searched a lot haha. Now I’m going to work hard on swelling care.
