I had double eyelid surgery once in Daejeon, with the line set thick and high, but the right line really didn’t take, so I had it done one more time ㅠㅠ
But they said there’s no such thing as perfect symmetry anyway, and I also didn’t want another revision, so I just lived with it. Then I was going around Seoul getting quotes for rhinoplasty, and every doctor who looked at me said my eyes were not good and that the surgery had been done wrong.
So I went back to the place where I had the first surgery and asked for a revision. But seriously, until the very end, the doctor kept saying that, in their view, my eyes were not eyes that needed revision.
So I said, other doctors are saying these are eyes that need revision, so why won’t you acknowledge it? And since I myself was dissatisfied, I said I needed to have it done, and I got the revision.
Because it was a revision surgery, it was done under local anesthesia, and when the doctor just put the scalpel and instruments down and left, tears really welled up in my eyes.
After that, the aftercare wasn’t proper either, but thankfully it really settled into place, and I’m living with it now ㅠㅠ
I never want to have anything done at that hospital again, and I don’t want to recommend it to anyone ㅠㅠ
No matter how much people can be different at first and later on, it was really bad.
Still, I’m somewhat satisfied now, but I’m also wondering whether I should have the line set again depending on how it looks ㅠ
Everyone, just go to Seoul from the start and get it done by a doctor who is really good!
