First of all, I’m someone from the provinces who lives 1 hour away from Busan! I arrived in Seomyeon before 12. For clinic visits, I went to ㅇㅎㅅ, ㄷㅍㅇㅅ, and ㄷㅁ. I chose them through community posts and review photos on Gangnam Unni. My final choice is ㄷㅁ.
1. ㄷㅍㅇㅅ ptosis correction + double eyelid surgery = 120 This was the first place I went and the place I had the highest expectations for! The clinic was big and the facilities were clean. But at that time, I didn’t know there could be some differences depending on the director, so I just said any director was fine, and the one who came was Director ㄱㄹㅅ. Since he was new, I searched Gangnam Unni and there was exactly one review, and even that review was a bit ambiguous (the post-op photo was a bruised photo where the swelling hadn’t gone down yet). On top of that, I felt like he couldn’t really catch the line well. It felt a bit clumsy and forced? At that time I wondered if the line wasn’t coming out pretty because my eyes weren’t pretty.
2. ㅇㅎㅅ ptosis correction + double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty = 170 But this place felt like an old local clinic. A consultant does the consultation at the counter (but if the doctor doesn’t do the consultation, I don’t really trust it). According to my mom, it was like a chaotic market? lol. They held a line for me, but they just followed the eye line I already had. In other words, the eyes I get when I apply double eyelid tape well (but with a thin double eyelid). But if I make it exactly along my existing eye line, the double eyelid starts at about one-third of the eye (like Ahn Yu-jin’s double eyelid, where the double eyelid disappears when the eyes are open). It would look natural, but honestly that’s not the double eyelid surgery line I want. It’s not a pretty double eyelid.. And it’s expensive.
3. ㄷㅁ ptosis correction + double eyelid surgery = 143 Here, the surgery schedule was delayed, so even though I had an appointment, I waited an hour and a half. While waiting, the before-and-after photos shown in front were really not pretty. They were the kind of photos that made me question the director’s aesthetic sense.. lol. While waiting, I looked at the other waiting clients, and among them there was an older girl who seemed to have had natural adhesion double eyelid surgery, and she was pretty. When I had the consultation, the doctor seemed to say right away when something wasn’t right, and spoke honestly without much filtering? The way he talked felt somewhat trustworthy. Also, he marked dots with a ballpoint pen while holding the line, and it was the best among the three (though the previous ones were not great). It wasn’t like it was extremely pretty, but when I came out it was past 6, so I didn’t have time to visit other places, and coming back to Busan again was a hassle, so I just chose here hehe.
Sigh, but the reviews about ㄷㅁ posted in this community had reactions like, “It’s okay, but if I did it again, I wouldn’t do it here,” so sigh.. Maybe I should have visited more clinics... But I’m too lazy, so I think I’ll just do it here.. Wouldn’t it be similar even if I went somewhere else? Sigh, I don’t know. This has been my Busan clinic-visit review for leveling up in this community.
