Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

5-year review of square jaw and cheekbone reduction

I heard from a friend that there was a facial contouring surgery event in Gangnam, and because my side cheekbones made me look harsh, and my square jaw was also really prominent, I firmly made up my mind and had surgery.

Avoid events if you can. They clearly consulted with me saying the head director would do the surgery and even planned the design, but someone else did the surgery, and I ended up going up to the ICU. In the end, they couldn’t suture me on the day of surgery, so I had to have surgery again the next day, and I think I really went through a lot. Because it was surgery under general anesthesia, they intubated my airway, and after I woke up from anesthesia, it was extremely painful. For 2 weeks, I was so swollen that my eyes wouldn’t open and I couldn’t see in front of me. Usually, with surgeries using a scalpel, the faster it’s done, the less swelling there is, but in my case they couldn’t even suture me and left me open for a day... sigh.

Now, 5 years later, of course it has improved compared to before, but people around me don’t know I had surgery ^^ That probably means there wasn’t much change. Square jaw surgery only changes the side profile. Don’t even think that doing square jaw surgery will make your front view look slim. After cheekbone reduction, it feels like a thread is passing through the philtrum area. My sensation still hasn’t come back lol. Still, it’s livable, but when I apply lipstick, I’m supposed to press my lips together like “um-um,” and I can’t really do that well lol.

If you’re expecting a dramatic change from facial contouring, definitely do a T-osteotomy of the chin. (I skipped it because I didn’t have enough money, and this is how it turned out...) Look into the director carefully, and don’t skimp on money...
