Has anyone had GORE-TEX removed?

It’s been about 10 months since I had septal correction at a university hospital, where they raised my nasal bridge by 4 mm with GORE-TEX and raised the nasal tip with septal cartilage. I still occasionally have a foreign-body sensation and tenderness..

Anyway, from what I heard from the professor who did my surgery, GORE-TEX can be removed even after a long time has passed, and as long as there is no inflammatory reaction, the bridge returns to its original state.

But while searching this community, I saw a lot of comments saying that adhesions get worse as time passes, the nasal bone becomes indented, and when GORE-TEX is removed, the nasal bridge gets pressed down..

Would it be better to just remove it now? From what I found, it seems like it will have to be removed someday, and I don’t want to be getting on an operating table when I’m older..ㅠ

Or is it because this community is generally used by people who had something go wrong with plastic surgery..?

I’m satisfied with the shape, but I’m so worried about the bridge becoming depressed, uneven/ground down, or flat after removal that honestly I feel like I’m going crazy right now. I’m originally the type who worries a lot.. ㅠㅠㅠ

For those who had GORE-TEX removed from the nasal bridge, please share your experiences..
