If you look at the posts I wrote before, you’ll know, but I went around in person to 20 hospitals in the Gangnam area that were said to be good. For my first surgery, I had Medpor used at ㄷㄹㅇ in Sinsa, and because I had a short nose and thin skin, after 4 years the nasal tip became pinched, the nostrils were asymmetric, and the tip started showing through.
So I visited 20 places in person. I was torn between surgeons who use costal cartilage and ear cartilage, and in the end I decided to have the Medpor removed at ㅍㄹㅁ in Apgujeong and have revision surgery with ear cartilage + septal cartilage. But on the day of surgery, after I had changed into the surgical gown and was about to be anesthetized, they said that if there wasn’t enough septal cartilage during surgery, they might use mesh. I hated Medpor, so I was trying to remove it and have revision surgery, and during two consultations they never even brought up mesh at all, but they said that on the day of surgery. I was furious, but it was the revision surgery I had waited so long for, and they said they would use an extremely small amount, so I went through with the revision surgery. And.. exactly one year has passed now. Waiting this year was really hard. Why?̊̈ Because the nasal tip has drooped, only the glabella height is high, and my nose is too short. They say the tip came down because there are limits with ear cartilage, and that they’ll do a free revision surgery. Ha.. If that was going to happen, why couldn’t they do it properly from the beginning? Why make me go as far as another revision surgery?̊̈ I think it means they lack the ability. So today I went to ㅇㅇㅌ, ㅁㅇㄷㅇ in Gangnam, and ㅇㅇㄷ Hospital. Since this would be my third surgery, the cost is well over almost 6 million won. I’m so angry.. Tomorrow I’m going to ㅍㄹㅁ and make a scene asking for a refund. Even if I have to pay more, I’m thinking of using autologous costal cartilage or cadaveric costal cartilage because I like a dramatic look. Is there anyone whose surgery went well?̊̈ I want a straight-to-semi-curved line for a small nose with thin skin. If I could do what I really want, I’d like cadaveric costal cartilage, but is the risk of inflammation much higher than with autologous costal cartilage.. Let’s share information.
