I think my nose was just a typical Korean nose! Low, blunt, and bulbous ㅠㅠ It was so stressful.!!! Whenever I kept asking my friends, “Should I get my nose done?” some friends said it would be fine even if I didn’t, and some said I’d look more refined if I did,, I thought about it so much before deciding on surgeryㅜㅜ When I asked my parents, they would say, “Your nose is a lucky-looking nose~~! It’s pretty,” but then they’d say, “But it is low, haha,” so I thought this won’t do, I should become a more refined image (city-girl image!!), and decided to have surgery
The day before surgery, I was so nervous that I think I barely slept. What kind of nose would I get, what if something went wrong, would the surgery go well, what if I didn’t wake up, and all sorts of random thoughts, so many ㅋㅋㅋ On the day of surgery, I had one last consultation with the director, and I emphasized Seo Yea-ji’s nose line. I’m a huge Seo Yea-ji fan, so I repeatedly emphasized that I wanted it to be as similar as possible to Seo Yea-ji’s nose ㅋㅋㅋ They said 100% wouldn’t be possible, but they would try as much as possible. After the consultation with the director ended, I got on the operating table, heard that anesthesia was starting, and just immediately blacked out.. When I opened my eyes, I was in the recovery room
Even after I went home, there wasn’t much pain..? There wasn’t really. It was just that my nose was bandaged and packed with nasal cotton, so I couldn’t breathe and felt stuffy? Then as time passed, pain gradually started to appear, but after taking the medication prescribed by the hospital, the pain wasn’t severe. Also, there wasn’t much swelling on the day of surgery, so I thought it was really fascinating, but the moment it became day 3-4, around my eyes and cheeks? They gradually started swelling. Because I had the splint on, washing my face was uncomfortable too, so I just gently washed like a cat wash, tried to sleep sitting up as much as possible, and drank pumpkin juice diligently too.
On the 1-week mark, I had the splint and stitches removed, and tears just rolled down..ㅠ My nose stung, so tears welled up. But after removing the splint, it felt so refreshing and relieving,, I looked in the mirror right after removal, but because of the residual swelling, the bulbous nose correction didn’t stand out that much to the eye. The nose line showed right away, so I thought, oh, it’s pretty. They said swelling at the nasal tip goes down the slowest, so I trusted that and waited, and from the day the splint was removed, it kept going down more and more each day. Now I’m at 2 weeks, and I think the nasal tip looks slimmer than when the splint was removed. But I wish my side profile were a little pointier like Seo Yea-ji’s, and the nasal tip seems a bit round, so will it get slimmer as time passes~??
