I said I was so happy. After the surgery, I mean. They say when one thing gets better, you start wanting another, and I thought I should just be grateful that the removal surgery was done without any accident, but afterward I started feeling so troubled.... First, I had removal and nostril reduction together, and during the consultation they said there would absolutely be no scar. They said only a very faint mark would remain and it wouldn’t be visible. They said the doctor was truly skilled, so I trusted them and went ahead with it, and maybe that’s why my expectations were high. The scar on my nostril is so severe. It was an external incision. They said they would make the incision slightly above the nostril so the scar would be less visible, but the line where the scalpel cut straight through is so prominent. The line is indented too. ㅠㅠ Yesterday I went for my one-month consultation and asked about it, and they said scars do form. What is that supposed to mean.ㅡㅡ When I asked whether they would do an A/S if it doesn’t go away with time, they only said we should look at it later. The knife mark is so severe that I’m starting to feel distressed. When I had the surgery, they told me not to apply ointment because there wouldn’t be a scar... This is the only place where I can vent about how I feel. I thought they would talk about a solution during the consultation, but I left feeling empty, so I’m writing this here. Do nostril reduction scars go away???? If anyone knows, please don’t just pass by and leave an answer.
