I was scared to have another surgery for the perforation caused by the intranasal implant (Medpor), so I left it untreated for 2 years. Then I had my first removal surgery successfully at “ㅂㅂ,” which is well known for revision rhinoplasty using autologous dermis, and I also completed the second revision surgery successfully^^!!!
I was nervous the day before the second revision surgery, so I couldn’t sleep well before going in for surgery~ The consultant and nurses welcomed me warmly as always and helped me prepare well for surgery^^
Before the surgery started, the director explained in detail the preoperative condition of my nose and the symptoms that could appear after the revision surgery. I also told him the nose shape I wanted, and he listened carefully and consulted with me^^
With my heart full of nerves, autologous dermis was harvested from my buttock. It took about 1 hour under local anesthesia while I was awake, but it ended without any pain at all for me!!
The nurse complimented me and said I did well haha. After the autologous dermis was harvested, I rested a bit in the recovery room and then went back in for surgery~ What the consultant said was really true: the second revision surgery was much easier than the first removal surgery!!!
The surgery time was a bit longer than the first one, but it was less difficult than the first surgery and manageable^^ As soon as I heard the director say the surgery was all finished, the words “thank you” came out naturally~~
The second revision surgery took about 3 hours in total, and I was so grateful because it seemed like the director and nurses worked really hard!!!
On the day of surgery, it throbbed a little, but there was no inconvenience in daily life, and after coming home I took care of my children well^^
After the second revision surgery, I went every day for disinfection treatment. Each time, the director did it himself, and I liked that he explained the things I asked about in an easy-to-understand way~~ And on the day my stitches were removed, I looked at the before-surgery, during-surgery, and after-surgery photos together with the director and consultant, and they explained everything once again, which was nice!!!!!!!
After that, time passed and I went for a follow-up about a month ago. After the director checked the shape of my nose himself, he said I could get a dermis injection after a month and a half, so I called the clinic today and made an appointment~~ I already like the shape of my nose now, but I’m already looking forward to seeing how much prettier my nose will become after the dermis injection^^
